Here is instalment no 3 in DE3IVAT's six digital ep series, née »Accelerate On Stalemate«. Therefore it completes the first half of a twenty-four-track cycle and at the same time prepares for more audio-adventures to come.
»Accelerate On Stalemate« was field-recorded in Germany and Switzerland and with the track »Elite Entertainment« bringing a political dimension into play by incorporating and manipulating a speech by Walter Ulbricht, former chairman of the state council of the former German Democratic Republic. Most of the sampled sounds used on that track were recorded at the Iron Curtain between West- and East Germany so you got the full historic package to dance to.
Yet, the remaining track of this great ep should also be enjoyed a great deal as we again found natural rhythms anywhere we went for our T3AFO project (see below). And, boy let me tell you, there is still enough material left for twenty more eps!
So, get your a$$ up and ready to »Accelerate On Stalemate«!

DE3IVAT is one more brainchild of multmedia artists Mirco Dalos & Christoffer Grunau. After putting T3AFO to rest with a huge mass of audio samples, fragments, visuals and ideas flying around, there was hardly a thought of finishing. It's merely in the art of stopping and starting again that gave birth to DE3IVAT. Joy, fun and the idea of »let's see what happens« had to be the defined watchwords for bringing something to the table again. As multi-media location-based art involves lots of people, budgets, negotiations and, yes, also frustrations at times, DE3IVAT is home-made, ever-fresh, like a child-play.

We assess all available data from the T3AFO archive, take our field recorders & cameras for walks and rides again, liberate us from constraining thoughts and produce material that is as light as it is satisfying. Take a noise here, perform a beat there, find a voice that might not be listened to and mould it into NOI_ES POP.

DE3IVAT's first major operation is a six-EP-series, which started August 31st, 2018 and the release of their first EP called »Methods Of Efficiancy«. The objective is to release a product every three months ending Xmas 2019 with an extra special product that still needs to define itself. So now it's up to you to enjoy: Play our music loud or not at all. And enjoy!
